Thuasne is innovating with the strapping bra, the first adjustable posture reminder Strapping Bra
With its X-shaped elastic straps around the back, the Strapping Bra creates a slight tension that pulls the shoulders back, helping to correct posture. As well as supporting the bust, which is essential in high-impact sports, the new bra naturally restores a more physiologically beneficial position.

THUANE SPORT SUPPORTS ALL BUSTS DURING EXERCISE
Thuasne draws on its extensive medical knowledge, including requirements following breast surgery, to support women during exercise. With sizing identical to standard lingerie and going up to the largest cup sizes, it offers a full range of bras designed for different body types and exercise impact levels.

THE PROOF IN FIGURES
The study(1) was commissioned by the Group in November 2021 and conducted by Analyse Sport Santé with a panel of 15 female testers aged 18 to 35, who were all athletes with no children, with bust measurements of 90 to 100 cm and cup sizes C or D. It showed that this bra constitutes a real innovation, optimising and individualising the support, comfort and posture of the women using it.
The effects were felt from the first level of tightening out of the four offered by the bra. The study proves that wearing the Strapping Bra on level four reduces vertical movements by 43% during running.
92% of the testers reported improved support at tightening levels three and four (with levels ranging from one to four), which provide the highest levels of tightening. 93% of the women felt no discomfort when wearing the bra. 79% of them found it very easy to remove.
The posture correcting effect was felt by 71% of the test subjects. The settings where this effect was felt were the third and fourth tightness settings (64% and 71% respectively). The testers reported that these effects are accentuated when the bra is tightened.
