Can you tell us about your career path?
I trained in textiles and clothing before joining Thuasne® in June 1996, in the R&D department. As a controller, I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with the design and creation processes for Thuasne products®, in particular by working on the hernia belt.
What was your career path at Thuasne®?
After this initial experience in R&D, my work was gradually divided between the made-to-measure department and quality control of finished products. Over the years, the latter department has grown in size, so I have dedicated myself to this mission.
What is your mission today and what does it involve?
I'm a controller. I check finished products before they are stored, to ensure they comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. To do this, I use a technical file to check dimensions, and a sample model to check visual appearance. A product is only released if it passes all these inspection stages. In the event of non-conformity, I block it, open a file and the product is sent for repair. I also manage the entry of customer returns. If a product has recurring defects, I pass on the information to help improve its design.
Has your role changed over the years?
My career path has been shaped by opportunities and internal changes, in particular the expansion of the quality control department and the integration of new technologies. The introduction of digital tools has considerably optimized product verification and tracking processes, making our work more efficient. These improvements have undoubtedly boosted customer satisfaction by guaranteeing ever more rigorous quality of our solutions.
Based on your experience, how do you perceive the evolution of Thuasne® today?
I have seen Thuasne® grow and expand internationally. This is still the case today, and I'm convinced that this dynamic will continue.
Do you have any other information to add?
I'm proud to be part of this evolution and to contribute to the continous improvement of Thuasne® products.
